Pastor Darrell D. Stroman is a native of Houston, Texas and is the eldest son of Rev. Herbert Darrell and Rose Stroman. He received his call to the ministry in 1995 and became an ordained minister in 2005. His mission in ministry has always been to honor God by helping more people become fully devoted followers of Christ. He credits his zeal for the ministry to his prolific pastor and grandfather, the late Pastor Herbert Stroman of Christian Hope Baptist Church. the Pastor Stroman taught him the basics of the ministry, loving God’s people, and treating His people with the love of God so that the people of God will love him back. He continues to carry on these values and principles that were instilled in him from grandfather and his father. 

Pastor Stroman served faithfully for 19 years at Second Corinth Baptist Church under the leadership of his late pastor, Pastor L.K. Williams, Sr., where he was the trusted Assistant to Pastor Williams. He accompanied his Pastor in every endeavor that his Pastor was involved in, whether in civic duty or within our church community, He exemplified loyalty and faithfulness to his pastor until the Lord called Pastor Williams home, September 14, 2020 in an untimely death. His favorite quote is “To God be the glory for the good things He has done”. During the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Rev. Stroman embarked on a new journey to reach God's people. He established a bible study ministry that is streamed weekly on Facebook and YouTube social media platforms. This allowed him to minister and reach people locally as well as across the nation. After a successful start to his online bible study ministry, God called  Pastor Darrell to start the his own church. On Sunday, November 7, 2021, Victory Temple Cathedral Church was launched. 

His life motto is "My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is  why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long." - Psalm 71:7- 8 (NLT)
